#1) Fluorite w/ Barite,
7.0 x 5.4 x 2.5 cm, 98.4 grams
The front of this very aesthetically pleasing mounded plate, is covered with very gemmy, high luster, golden-yellow fluorite cubes to about 1 cm and wonderfully accented with snow-white barite blades. The back is totally covered with barite blades. Two generations of fluorite are evident from the fluorescent photo, yellow / white and purple. Complete all around and nearly pristine. The bottom edge is the contact point, but difficult to see and does not take away for the beauty of this piece. This is very fine specimen from the famed Spanish locale. Great two-sided combination.
#2) Fluorite w/ Sphalerite & Chalcopyrite,
9.17 cm x 5.90 cm x 4.0 cm, 256.4 grams
It is a wonderfully aesthetic specimen with a blanket of gemmy golden honey yellow fluorite. There is an area on the back side that has chalcopyrite. Sprinkled across the front of the specimen and the rear, are tiny micro crystals of sphalerite. There are also a few barite crystals present, mainly on the bottom side.
#3) Fluorite w/ Barite,
11.0 cm x 8.17 cm x 5.20 cm., 668 grams
Here is a fine, cabinet size specimen of gemmy golden yellow cubic fluorite crystals clustered on matrix with a sprinkling of barite crystals. This was said to have been mined in the late 1990's.Very aesthetic specimen, sharp color, great contrast and very high luster to the crystals. Some very small micro chips are present, but almost impossible to see without magnification.A beautiful and showy specimen.
#4) Purple & Yellow Fluorite, 2 Generations of growth,
8.97 cm x 8.85 cm x 6.25 cm, 622 grams
It is not to common to find purple fluorite from this mine, but even more uncommon to have two colors, purple and yellow fluorite crystals on the same piece of matrix. By looking at the specimen, it would appear that the yellow fluorite was first generation, and the purple fluorite second generation. There are however a few crystals that are 50 / 50 in color. A very interesting specimen from a mine mostly known for the golden yellow colors.
