Here is a really nice and interesting polished cabochon of benitoite.
Highly polished benitoite gem cabochons are so hard to photograph.
The cabochon is polished on all sides.
The cabochon is translucent to transparent in areas.
I has a neptunite inclusions which can only be seen on the back side.
This highly polished cabochon shows some bi-coloration, also allowing it to fluoresce blue in Shortwave and red in Longwave UV lighting.
It's color looks mostly white with a blue edge.
Amazing to look at using magnification, to view all the interesting internal inclusions.
A beautiful and unusual larger benitoite cabochon.
