This is a beautiful benitoite gemstone.
This stone is Very Eye Clean. Using a 10X loupe, a slight inclusion can hardly be seen hidden in the girdle, but cannot be seen with the eye.
The color is a beautiful benitoite medium blue with violet.
This benitoite shows the gems Pleochroism very well, making the stone appear slightly lighter or darker in color depending on the orientation when viewed.
The stone has great life in the sunlight.
