This is a beautiful benitoite gemstone.
Such a great Cut. This stone is Very Eye Clean. Using a 10X loupe, I cannot see a single inclusion.
The color is a beautiful benitoite Medium blue with violet.
This benitoite shows the gems Pleochroism very well, making the stone appear slightly lighter or darker in color depending on the orientation when viewed.
Please look at all of the photos. They just cannot properly express the true beauty of this stone.
All photos are taken at extreme magnification, so that you can see what you are purchasing. Anything on the surface of the stone in the photos is either dust, cotton fibers, or what is known as flea bites.
These cannot be seen with the naked eye.
None of my photos are color enhanced. The colors you see are the true colors.
