As with most garnet like this, they can look dark in low light, but this one is lively even in low light.
The color is mostly a pinkish purple, like a wine color, with very lively pink flashes.
The garnet is very eye clean, with 10x magnification, some slight inclusions can barely be seen hidden in the girdle.
It is well cut with very vibrant color, and is a very lively gemstone.
