Here is a beautiful round cut Morogoro Garnet from Morogoro Region of Tanzania.
As with most garnet like this, they can look dark in low light, but this one is lively even in low light.
The color shifts in this one, looking pinkish purple with red to reddish purple with pink flashes.
The garnet is very eye clean, with 10x magnification, some very slight inclusions can barely be seen hidden in the girdle.
It is well cut with vibrant color, and is a very lively gemstone.
