Here is a beautiful Oval cut "Strawberry Garnet" from the Umba Valley Region of Tanzania.
It can look very red in most lighting, and have just a hint of purple in other lighting giving it more of a Raspberry coloring.
It is well cut with very vibrant color, and is a very lively stone. This garnet is very clean, using a 10x loupe some well hidden inclusions are barely visible.
