The mineral is Zoisite, with the blue variety known as Tanzanite.
This is one amazing gem! This gem is loupe clean.
In it's natural unheated state, this gems shows all of it's natural beauty.
Sometimes refered to as Honey Tanzanite due to the mixing of colors,
the pleochroism is very strong on this gem.
It is a mix of it's natural colors showing purple and yellow mixed with some red,
giving this gem an Autumn coloring.
Depending on the viewing angle and lighting, you can easily see each of the colors.
In the gem box it looks like a golden brown, but out of the box,
the stones comes alive with color and brilliance.
