Here is a beautiful, 100% Natural Montana Sapphire.
Most Montana Missouri River Sapphire that are all nature and unheated, are color changers and this is no exception.
All the photos taken are of this sapphire, just using different types of lighting.
As you will see in the photos, this sapphire looks mainly light green indoors.
Depending on the lighting it can also look blue, a mix sometimes refered to as "Peacock", or teal.
Step outside and in the sunlight, if you can see past it's brilliance, it picks up the color from the sky looks blue or teal.
The sapphire is very clean. It does however have the natural rutile silk that can be seen depending on the viewing angle.
In one photos you can see the hexagonal pattern of the silk within the stone.
f the sapphire was heated this silk would not be present, and the color change would be gone.
As always with all the Missouri River sapphire I sell, No treatment of any type was used for this stone.
