Beautiful, high luster, gem barite crystals combine with golden yellow calcite make this specimen so very special.
Most of the gem barite crystals are very small, but the size varies up to 2.7 cm long.
The barite sparkles like diamonds, the luster is so high.
Now be sure to watch the video to the end, as I got a big surprise.
I knew the barite and calcite was highly fluorescent, but I had no idea that it was so phosphorescent!
A pretty amazing specimen in any type of lighting.
