Here is a very nice miniature size specimen of Benitoite from this famous mine.
Beautiful blue crystals of benitoite, sit within a greenish blue schist matrix along with snowy white natrolite.
The crystals are mostly well formed, but have had their growth slightly altered by contact with the matrix so they are not completely formed.
The faces of the crystals are mostly that high luster, which is hard to come by.
Overall a beautiful specimen.
