Here is a great thumbnail specimen of Benitoite on matrix.
There is one, 1.0 cm size benitoite crystal, partially exposed on matrix with some snowy white natrolite.
The crystal is sharp, well formed and has great clarity. So clean you ca see the matrix on the other side,
It is a deep bue with violet color, I took some photos with a light shining on it, to show its clarity.
There is one other benitoite crystal s present under the main one on the side.
A small but mighty specimen.
