This is a beautiful calcite specimen from this locale.
Here is a wonderful small cabinet size cluster of inter - grown and twinned Calcite crystals.
The overall specimen is a mix of translucent to transparent crystals.
At the core of the specimen, it is honey colored which looks more orange when back lit.
It has great stepped growth with unique soft curved edges.
The bottom is not cleaved flat, but looks to be the side of attachment to whatever this grew on.
There are a few cleaved surfaces, but they are small and so hard to see on this type of formation.
Overall great condition for pieces coming out of this mine.
