Here is a great multi mineral specimen from this well known mine.
Amazing penetration twinning present with fluorite cubes put to 4.8 cm.
The fluorite colors a pale compared to most Denton Mine pieces, mostly due to zones of white / colorless fluorite.
As seen in the photos, colors zones of purple, yellow, and even a bit of blue can be seen it a thin upper zone, but down deep in the fluorite blue can also be seen.
The fluorite sits on a matrix of sphalerite which is also present as a later generation being "sprinkled" over the top of some fluorite.
Also present is some impressive Galena. The large impressive cube that sits within the fluorite, is 2.5 cm, and shows a lot of twinned faces.
There are also micro Galena crystals sprinkled across the surface of some of the fluorite that are very interesting to look at.
A very pristine specimen, any contact along the back or bottom looks to have been healed long ago.
A very interesting specimen in many ways.
