Fluorite

Everyone is going crazy over Okorusu fluorite these days,
well here is a top end early one that started the craze!
Here is a very impressive early specimen of fluorite from this famed mine.
This is from an early discovery at the mine around 1984 which eventually became A pit,
having some quartz crystals throughout.
Amazing large inter-grown and twinned cubes up to 2.3 cm.
Beautiful multicolored fluorite with green, blue and purple zones,
that show well without back light, but even better with back lighting.
The camera lens brings out more of the blue coloring, but to the eye the fluorite looks more teal in color.
What I love about this specimen,
is the clarity of the crystals allowing you to see through all the way to the matrix,
allowing you see the quartz crystal inclusions in many of the crystals.
No real damage anywhere.
A top end specimen for any collection.
