Fluorite

This is a wonderful cluster of large inter-grown and twinned cubes of Fluorite.
The crystal twinning and inter-growth on this specimen is amazing.
It has a few small sprays of quartz crystals also present.
The date of discovery is not exactly known,
however I was told that it comes from very early diggings of what has come to be known as "Pit A". circa late 1980's.
The camera lens enhances the blue, especially the video, but in most lighting,
it looks like a dark teal, mixing in the slight yellowish green that is present.
It has a very interesting outer corner zoning on the cubes that looks white,
but when back lit, those corners are a pale yellowish green.
The specimen is in perfect condition.
