Fluorite on Quartz

Here is a wonderful specimen of fluorite on quartz from Erongo, Namibia.
A single, large cuboctahedron crystal of fluorite formed on a large quartz crystal.
The fluorite is green with pale purple zoning, and has some minor hyalite opal on it.
The fluorite also shows some rainbow iridescence in areas.
The large, well terminated quartz crystal has frosted surfaces and has an area of hematite coating
which is partial on the surface, but also within the crystal.
It also shows some interesting stepped growth patterns on some faces.
On one face of the quartz and top of the fluorite are some micro quartz crystals giving it that sugar look.
The back side shows contact, but has some hyatile on it,
showing that it detached in the pocket, where the hyalite was allowed to form on it.
Properly displayed, you cannot see the contacted area.
