Here is an amazing large cabinet specimen of fluorite with barite over calcite from Kentucky.
It has been in many collections, and still retains all its old labels.
It has never had professional cleaning, and has stayed pretty much as found all these years later.
It has some amazing etching and partial dissolution of some cubes on the front side.
It has beautiful well formed fluorite crystals, framed in purple with centers of white to pale yellow in color.
The colors do deepen under LED lighting.
These crystal show amazing twinning and inter-growth throughout.
