Here is an amazing large cabinet specimen of Fluorite with Muscovite from the Erongo region of Namibia.
This specimen has no matrix, the plate is made up of only fluorite and muscovite.
It is covered in 100s of beautiful cuboctahedral crystals of fluorite
( up to 2.6 cm), which are mostly an emerald green color.
There are some smaller fluorite crystals that are near colorless or have a bit of purple in them,
and some that start at near colorless and change to emerald green.
The crystals are all well formed and very gemmy. Some have etched faces that are matte, while others have high luster.
Throughout the specimen are small golden yellow books of muscovite.
The green and yellow contrast makes for a stunning specimen.
