"Copper Rose", Native copper pseudomorph after Azurite
Copper Rose Mine
San Lorenzo, Georgetown District, Grant County, New Mexico
3.3 cm x 2.7 cm 2.3

Here is a very unique specimen.
This is a Copper pseudomorph after Azurite, which formed a copper rose, (I wonder were they got the name for the mine?)
Blades of Azurite that have been replaced by copper make up this unique specimen. (Almost looks like a peach pit).
Still appears to have pocket clay in between the crystals.
A unique pseudomorph specimen.
