Here is a very nice specimen of Druzy Quartz on Chrysocolla from the Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico.
The specimen also shows malachite along with a few other minerals.
A thin layer of tabular druzy quartz crystals sit on the front of the specimen.
The veins of chrysocolla and other minerals run throughout the matrix.
This sits as a wonder specimen on it's own, but I have seen others I have sold sliced up and turned into some wonderful jewelry piece.
