This is some of the finest gem selenite crystals found.
Naica is known for the Caves of Giant Selenite crystals.
This fine specimen comes from some recent new explorations at the mine.
These amazing crystals sit on top of a matrix that can easily be seen through the crystals.
There are some very slight bruises to some of the crystals, which are extremely common on these since they are very, very soft (2 on the Mohs scale).
The slight bit of matrix that the crystal are attached to does like to shed a bit.
The crystals are all as clear as glass, you can read through the crystals with no distortion even though it is over 6 cm thick!
