Here is a beautiful example of this highly sought after mineral inclusion from South Africa.
This is a hefty single crystal of quartz, which is included with Ajoite crystals.
The quartz is pretty transparent allowing you to also see some of the other ghostly inclusions within the crystal.
The crystal is well formed, unpolished, with no true damage.
It only some very slight micro chipping along the terminated edges which you need magnification to see,
to the eye, the different face edges are all sharp and clean.
The transparency allows good viewing of the colorful needle like Ajoite crystals.
The back side of the crystal is included (and has surface crystals) of some hematite and epidote.
Also on the back side of the of the large crystal, are two small sidecar crystals that also have ajoite inclusions.
It would be hard to upgrade from this all natural specimen!
