Here is a beautiful specimen of quartz and hyalite opal from this well known area.
The specimen consists of a cluster of inter-grown, dark tessin habit smoky quartz crystals.
Covering part of one of the crystals, is some amazing hyalite opal.
The hyalite is partially daylight fluorescent, but hit it with a UV light, and the hyalite glows super bright.
An amazing specimen overall.
