Small but beautifully transparent, reddish orange prismatic rhodochrosite crystals on an oxide matrix, which is presumably Mn-rich.
The gemmy reddish orange rhodochrosite crystals on the black matrix makes for a great contrast.
The matrix has crystals throughout.
