Here is a great smaller crystal of Tanzanite that is well formed and terminated.

It shows its pleochroism well, looking blue down one axis and purple from the side axis.

Down the blue axis, some of the natural green coloring can also be seen.

There is some interesting growth lines seen on one of the faces, as well as an internal area of iridescence.
