Here is a wonderful specimen from the Erongo Mountains.

This large terminated schorl crystal formed within a pocket that contained crystals of aquamarine.

The aquamarine are light blue in color and are water clearm allowing you so see through them.

The aquamarine crystals are all terminated, and appears to have 2 generations of growth.

The schorl also shows 2 generations, with smaller fiberous crystals forming atop of some of the aquamarine and large schorl crystal.

Minor microline is present on the back side of the specimen.
