Tourmaline w/ Muscovite

Out of an old collection,
comes this amazing tourmaline specimen from this well known locality.
This is a very interesting tourmaline specimen.
At the bottom of the specimen,
it seems to start out as a single, beautiful blue crystal.
As it formed and grew, it turned into hundreds of tiny crystals,
that grew and fanned out until they all terminated.
Upon close inspection, each terminated crystal, appears to have dozens to hundreds of tiny individual crystals that all terminated together.
The tourmaline is the most beautiful blue color at the base until about half way up,
where it starts adding green to the coloring.
It remains this bluish green up to the top termination.
The outside of the crystal has wonderful micro books of cream colored muscovite.
In perfect condition.
