Here is a beautiful specimen of Wavellite on matrix.
This comes from an area not well known for this mineral.
It has wonderful yellow (not a common color), botryoidal mounds on one side of the specimen.
One the back side of the limestone matrix,
there are initials and a date of the person that dug it.
A very attractive miniature size specimen.
