Here is a beautiful mineral carving by this well known Brazilian mineral carver.
The Hummingbird with it's wing out spread, is carved out Rose Quartz with wings and tail carved from banded fluorite.
He has a carnelian beak, and is mounted on a natural piece of quartz with tourmaline crystals in it.
The piece does come apart, and there are two holes for a foot pegs drilled into the quartz.
A very cute and affordable mineral carving.
