Here is one very unique faceted Oregon Sunstone. The color is a Champagne color, but it can look a coppery red due to the large copper platelets present.
Usually when talking about Oregon Sunstone, the copper platelets present are refered to as schiller. These are generally very small in size and very close together, giving the stone a copper schene.
This stone whoever, has quite large copper platelets in differing depths within the stone, giving it an amazing speckled look.
Aside for the copper platelets, this sunstone is very clean.
Absolutely stunning in the sunlight, truly lives up to the name Sunstone.
