Here is a beautiful faceted Oregon Sunstone. This beauties color is a reddish Orange most of the time.
In some lighting it looks almost cherry red and in other lighting it can look orange with flashes of fiery red.
Due it's dichroic nature this gem can appear a different color when viewed from different angle, but it's main color is seen in the photos. Green will appear at different viewing angles.
This gem is a very clean stone, with just some very slight copper schiller platelets, but not visible without magnification.
Absolutely stunning in the sunlight, truly lives up to the name Sunstone.
