Benitoite on Matrix

Out of an old collection comes this very nice benitoite specimen.
Beautiful blue benitoite crystals, up to 1.8 cm, adorn one side of this piece of bluish green schist matrix.
Many sharp, well terminated crystals on this specimen.
They do have that fractured look with matte faces which is common.
There is a fair amount of gem rough throughout, but I always hope specimens such as this stay intact.
There are also a few small neptunite crystals present.
The bottom is cut flat so it can sit on it's own.
No damage, only a few growth interrupted crystals on the edges.
Overall a very nice specimen for any collection.
