Here is a great specimen of benitoite with natrolite on matrix.
The sharply terminated benitoite crystals, have that beautiful blue coloring,
the largest measuring just over 2 cm.
The coloring of the crystals along with the white natrolite among the matrix, give a great contrast of colors.
The crystals have sharp modified termination.
All are gemmy and complete, except for one small on on the edge with has a neptunite within.
The large one on the edge that looks damaged is not.
It is a gemmy terminated crystal that formed over a crossite included benitoite.
The edges are fully terminated.
These crystal are quite gemmy, but I do hope it stays a specimen.
Quite an impressive specimen.
