From a small but unique find, come this amazing specimen.
Although this mineral pseudomorph has been found in the past, when found, it is seen as botryoidal formations on plates. These specimens are floaters.
There is little information on floater specimens such as this from this locale. The floater find was said to have been over 10 years ago.
These stacked and inter-grown spheres, can also show twinning on some of these specimens, these are both twins.
I have these mounted in this position with mineral tac, but you might want to remove and place in a different position.
The spheres are complete and have a few crystals of wavellite can be seen on both specimens
Do not use a lot of pressure when handling / mounting these specimens, as some spheres are not inter-grown and are delicately attached to other spheres (as I sadly found out on one such specimen).
This specimen will be well packed for shipping. Acrylic Base is included. If you do not wish to use this base, please let me know.
