Emerald in Biotite

Out of an old collection is this crazy cluster of Emerald crystals from this well known Brazilian locale.
Some of these Emerald crystals are crazy, being large and tabular, two of them being 4.0 cm across and 2.3 cm thick.
The crystals are translucent to transparent, there is a lot of emerald rough in this specimen.
Even if it is not the most attractive specimen, I sure hope this stays as a specimen and does not get chopped up.
The specimen had some lab work done, only to expose more of the crystals.
By removing some of the biotite and quartz, the crystals were better exposed but still kept the natural look of the specimen.
While these emerald crystals certainly are not all as gemmy as good Colombian ones, note that this is an old Brazilian Emerald specimen - far rarer.
This is a crazy and exceptional Brazilian Emerald Specimen.
