Although original label states Poteryaevskoe Mine, all indications point to the Rubtsovsk Mine.
Either way, this is an amazing specimen of cuprite and silver from Russia.
This is a sharp cluster of octahedral cuprites with a dark silvery red patina, features crystals to 9 mm.
There is also some crystallized silver in crevasses on the back and especially on the bottom.
Some red can be seen when back lighting some crystals.
A very beautiful miniature specimen.
